Awards and registered agreements can provide more annual leave or different payment/loading rules. The estimate does not determine shiftworker status, long service leave, personal leave, public-holiday effects, leave taken in advance, cash-out compliance or exact payroll records.
How annual leave builds
Fair Work says annual leave accumulates progressively from the first day of employment, including probation, and unused leave rolls over from year to year. Accrual is based on ordinary hours.
